ADULT INTRODUCTION/TASTER SESSION - £42
2-hour training session to introduce you to the basic knowledge and skills of Paddlesport and includes instruction on safety, equipment and basic paddling techniques.
PADDLEPOWER (AGE 8-16)- £42
The Paddlepower scheme is a progressive award scheme to provide a development pathway for young paddlers. The first session is the ‘Paddlepower Start’ that will get you into a boat and paddling, safely. Subsequent sessions enable you to progress and develop your paddling experience and skills. Each session is approximately 2 hours.
PADDLEPOWER - START
Amateur - Instruction, kayak, double blade paddle, spray deck, wetsuit and buoyancy aid.
PADDLEPOWER - PASSPORT
intermediate - Instruction, kayak, double blade paddle, spray deck, wetsuit and buoyancy aid.
PADDLEPOWER - DISCOVER
Experienced - Instruction, kayak, double blade paddle, spray deck, wetsuit and buoyancy aid.
BRITISH CANOEING 1 STAR (ADULT)
This is an adult beginner award to enable you to confidently and safely paddle a canoe and kayak on the placid water. This is a one day course incorporating instruction on personal paddling skills, rescue and recovery techniques, safety, group awareness and paddlesport theory.
BRITISH CANOEING 1 STAR ASSESSMENT (KAYAK)- £90
Inclusive of coaching and assessment, kayak, double blade paddle, spray deck, wetsuit and buoyancy aid.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT - PRICE VARIES
Bespoke coaching sessions can be arranged to meet your individual needs, eg preventing capsize, rescue and recovery, rolling and event training.
